For our May Membership Meeting, we will be considering endorsements for the upcoming gubernatorial election. The Board has recommended John Chiang for Governor. This is your chance to make your voice heard about this critical race for Governor!

Additionally, Chelsea Lee Byers, Executive Director of the Campaign to Abolish the Statute of Limitations on Rape and Sexual Assault, will lead a discussion on issues of gender equality, discrimination, and allyship.

In light of recent scandals involving San Fernando Valley elected representatives, the board has set a goal of devising a slate of programming aimed at empowering victims of sexual harassment and assault while educating allies to be more aware, engaged, and supportive. At this meeting, we will start that conversation.
