Come on out and join us for our annual holiday gathering! This year, we are collecting toys which will be donated to the Northeast Valley Health Corporation, to be distributed to over a thousand children receiving care at their health centers. Please bring an unwrapped toy (worth at least $10) that is age-appropriate for a children ranging from newborns to 10 year olds.
At this meeting, we will also be holding an endorsement vote for the upcoming election in Los Angeles Unified School District, Seat 6. We are thrilled to see a wide range of progressive Democrats in the race for District 6 seat of the LAUSD Board. We have been approached by a number of the candidates regarding our support in the race.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the issues, to be followed by a secret ballot vote by club members*.
